Coach G Academy, Inc
The home of Baltimore's FIRST and ONLY Citywide STEP TEAM
Our mission is to engage youth in Education, Leadership, and Mentoring. We empower youth to prosper academically, physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially by providing programming shaped by our 5 Pillars of success, access to artistic and athletic outlets, and access to mentorship. We focus on the WHOLE child approach where every child has a voice so they feel seen and supported.

Meet The CEO
Geri "Coach G" McCarter is a Baltimore native and an alumna of the illustrious Coppin State University (CSU). In Spring of 2015 she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in History and Secondary Education and a Minor in Special Education.
Coach G's mindset is that every young girl wants to learn and is teachable. By combining her more than 10 years experience as an educator with her love of movement, specifically step Coach G's mission is to show the world how step positively transforms and uplifts the mind body and soul.
Coach G Academy, Inc. is an official participant of the CIAA Stepshow on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Known for fostering student leadership, strong academics, and artistic excellence through step, Coach G Academy brings its energy, mentorship, and community spirit to this showcase. Join us as teams from across the city compete, perform, and celebrate the rich tradition of stepping.
